We'd like to congradulate Janwen for winning April's fanfic contest! Keep up the good writing work, Janwen!
Although Janwen won, everyone who entered the contest is basically a winner.

... Now, there's something we need to discuss. We've got an issue.
Some people may not realize that we can SEE who votes. We can't see who they voted for though. The problem is that 6 random usernames with the SAME IP address voted, and two other usernames with the same IP did, too. Different e-mails though. I checked and checked, but neither IPs matched any of the contestants or voters IPs.
So how do we know who really won, if some random person went through and voted more than once?
Therefore, because of this, we'd like to announce a second and third place winner!

The contests are going to have to change from now on, but we'll still try to have them. We will most likely not have a May contest, but during May we'll vote on another contest. We'll discuss that more later. There's no way to know WHO maded multiple accounts and voted. It could've been some random user passing by who was bored.
Let's hope that with a new voting style (which the staff is currently discussing), this won't happen again.
