i was reading eclipse and the chapter [imprint] i i was confused i still don't know what imprinting is will you explain it to me?

Imprinting is the feeling Quileutes feel when they meet their soulmate or something like that... As it is described in the book, it is like love at first sight but stronger...
It is uncontrollable and magical...
Once a Quileute imprints the one they imprint on will be their number one priority, he/she will be the most important thing or person to him/her... Nothing else compares to the one they imprint on...

the imprinting is like your soulmate, but more.
you become very possesive of that person in an affectionate way...
doesn't neccessarily have to be with someone your age, it can happen with anyone. its something that cannot be avoided.
this belongs to the legend of Jacob's tribe.

imprinting is like a conection between you and another person or a quiliant and another person. the age difference dones not matter just like BREAKING DAWN SPOILER ALERT
jacob and renessme jacob is a teen ager and renesme is just a baby but jacob still feels the conection like he hast to be her proterter and keep her safe no matter what so when she is jacobs age there will be a love conetion because jacob will not age

It means when a wolf see's a girl and for some reason they just know that she's the one it means they imprinted on the girl.It's like love but stronger.Does that make sense.If it doesn't let me know and i will try to explain it better, o.k.
